The Oklahoma Chapter of the Heartland Owners Club (HOC) conducted its inaugural rally May 24-28 at the WinStar RV Park in Thackerville, Oklahoma. Chapter Leaders, Larry & Donna Keever, did a remarkable job of organizing and hosting the event, which resulted in 13 rigs (27 people) attending.
Meet the attendees . . . .
The rally began with the arrival of the attendees, which included Terry & Carol Hershberger who own “Demo #1.” Their Heartland coach is a 2009 Pinehurst, previously assigned to Jim Beletti, Director of Owner Interests, Heartland RVs. This baby has it all!
Terry & Carol have an equally nice truck to tow their rig . . . .
Once all the rigs were set up, the food, fun, and fellowship commenced!

Lots of food was prepared and served during the 5-day event . . . .
Games were played and prizes were won . . . .
But most importantly, everyone had a great time!
The group even helped Larry & Donna celebrate their anniversary!
Several attendees got together on the final night for dinner and some amateur magic . . . .
Serna’s Mexican Restaurant (Gainsville, Texas) has been open just a few months and has great food!
A couple of brave souls ordered a “Beer-rita,” which is a frozen margarita with a small bottle of Corona beer turned upside down into the mug. Apparently, the beer seeps into the mug over a period of time.
Corbin Tayloe demonstrates his magic skills with “magnetized silverware.”
Most came as strangers, but all left as an “Oklahoma/Texas Heartland Family!
